What kind of powertrain will I find underneath the hood of the 500X?

There are two powertrain options available for the 2018 model year. The first option powers the Pop model. This 1.4-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine produces 184 pound-feet of torque and 160 horsepower. This engine comes matched to a manual six-speed transmission and is estimated to get up to 33 miles per gallon with highway driving. Standard on the Trekking and Lounge models (and optional on the Pop model) is a 2.4-liter inline-4 that produces 175 pound-feet of torque and 180 horsepower. Fiat pairs this engine with an automatic nine-speed transmission. This engine can be outfitted with both front- and all-wheel drive. This engine has been estimated to reach 30 mpg on the highway with front-wheel drive. All models outfitted with all-wheel drive gain a Dynamic Selector Traction Control System that comes with three drive modes including Auto, Sport, and Traction+ to provide you confidence behind the wheel no matter the terrain.

What kind of features does each 500X trim level offer?

The Fiat 500X comes in three trim levels for the 2018 model year. The base Pop comes outfitted with standard features like cruise control, heated mirrors, 16-inch steel wheels, remote locking and unlocking, full power accessories, a rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, air conditioning, height-adjustable front seats, a 60/40 split folding rear seat, 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker sound system, USB port, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, a fold-flat front passenger seat, and a driver information display. The mid-level -- also known as the Trekking -- model gains a cargo floor panel that is removable and height-adjustable, 17-inch alloy wheels, upgraded cloth upholstery, automatic headlights, adjustable drive modes, rear privacy glass, fog lights, and an upgraded information display. The highest trim level, the Lounge model, adds all the features and option packages from the Trekking model as well as a rear cargo cover, an eight-speaker sound system, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and chrome exterior trim.

Does the Fiat 500X offer safety features?

Fiat has equipped the Fiat 500X with active and passive entry safety and security systems to help you have the most fun while being safe and secure! Additional standard features include stability control and roll mitigation, a front passenger seat belt alert, and a rearview camera.
