What is the engine for the Jeep Gladiator?

The engine available for the Jeep Gladiator is a 3.6-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque mated to a six-speed manual transmission. If you so choose, an eight-speed automatic transmission is also available. Coming soon will be a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 that will make 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. The transmission for the EcoDiesel V6 will be the eight-speed automatic. The Gladiator comes with a five-foot cargo bed as well as four-wheel-drive.

What are notable features on the Jeep Gladiator?

The Jeep Gladiator is available in four different trim levels each with their own set of features. The base-level Sport comes with 17-inch steel wheels, all-season tires, crank windows, manual door locks and mirrors, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and cruise control. Tech features include a rearview camera as well as a 5-inch central display with Bluetooth and voice control capability. The Sport also comes with a convertible folding soft top, removable doors and a fold-down front windshield. Other options include automatic headlights, LED ambient footwell lighting, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Rubicon is the most off-road capable and provides you with fenders with increased clearance to accommodate larger 33-inch all-terrain tires, locking front and rear differentials, an electronically disconnectable front stabilizer bar, Fox shock absorbers, and body-protecting rock rails and skid plates.

What are some of the safety features?

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator comes with a ton of safety and security features including a Blind-Spot Monitoring system that uses radar to detect other vehicles and will alert the driver if one is traveling in your blind spot zone. Furthermore, an Adaptive Cruise Control system will automatically adjust your driving speed to maintain a pre-selected distance between you and the car in front of you and will even bring the vehicle to a complete stop without driver input. And a Forward Collison Warning system with Active Breaking alerts you to a potential frontal impact. If you fail to respond, and there is still a risk, the Gladiator will apply the breaks.
