Rubicon models get up to 11.1-inches of ground clearance between the underside of the truck and the terrain so you can drive over obstacles with confidence.

Traction is key when off-roading so that every wheel works to drive the truck forward. Jeep® Brand 4x4 systems help to ensure the right tire has traction when it's needed.

The Trailer Sway Control system detects when your trailer is swaying and will apply brake pressure to individual wheels of the Gladiator to help bring it back in line.

The ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System uses sonar sensors located in the rear bumper to detect obstacles behind you. It will sound an alert when you get close to a potential hazard when parallel parking or backing into a parking spot.

The available Trail Rail™ System is an adjustable tie-down system that mounts on the front wall of the bed and both bed sides. Customize it with available accessories from Jeep® Performance Parts.

.Four strong integrated tie-down loops can be adjusted as needed, including folded flush into the wheel wells when not attached to straps to maximize cargo space.

Use voice or screen commands to set a destination and the Navigation system on the available Uconnect® 4C NAV with 8.4-inch touchscreen will guide you wherever you're headed. It will also search for ATMs, restaurants, gas stations and other points of interest.

Overland offers a collection of premium details designed to enhance the natural comfort of Gladiator-featuring available leather-trimmed seats and a wrapped dashboard with accent stitching. Plus, soft-touch surfaces are finished with platinum chrome bezels, handles and knobs.

2021 Jeep Gladiator Engine and Drivetrain

There are two potent engines available for the 2021 Jeep Gladiator. The base engine is a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine that puts out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. For those who seek more torque, there is the available 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 with a substantial 260 horsepower and an impressive 442 lb-ft of torque. The EcoDiesel engine is an available option on the Sport, Overland, and Rubicon trims. Just like the Wrangler, the Gladiator is available with either 4x4 or full-time four-wheel drive with a center differential. The gas-powered V6 comes linked to a six-speed manual transmission, while the diesel engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic which is available on all other trims, including gas models.

What Are the Trim Levels and Features of the 2021 Gladiator?

The five 2021 Gladiator trims include Sport, Sport S, Overland, Mojave, and Rubicon. The Sport trim leads off with a 5-inch infotainment touchscreen, underbody skid plates, 17-inch steel wheels, removable doors, a fold-down windshield, a removable soft top, and drain plugs for a washout interior. The Gladiator Overland turns it up a notch with powered windows and locks, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated side mirrors, tinted rear glass, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. The Mojave trim sets its sites on the sand dunes with a wider track, 33-inch all-terrain tires on 17-inch alloy wheels, high-clearance fender flares, FOX suspension parts, and an electronic locking rear differential. The Rubicon is most at home on the trails with features like Rock-Trac part-time 4x4 with a transfer case, an electronic disconnecting sway bar, a front-facing off-road TrailCam, electronic front and rear locking differentials, and off-road cruise control. The High Altitude trim focuses on occupant comfort with Nappa leather upholstery, 20-inch wheels, and body-colored exterior accents, including fender flares, door handles, front and rear bumpers.

Also standard is a ParkView rearview camera and Electronic Roll Mitigation.
