Trim Levels of the 2019 Grand Cherokee

Trim Levels of the 2019 Grand Cherokee

There are seven feature-packed trim levels available for the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee; the Laredo, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, SRT, and Trackhawk. Each of these trims can easily prove themselves to be fine vehicles with their great offering of features. Nearly all of the trims give the option to choose between four- or rear-wheel-drive, the Trailhawk being one exception in that it only comes with four-wheel-drive while the Trackhawk and SRT trims each come with a specialized all-wheel-drive system.

The basic Laredo trim level starts things off coming already well-equipped with climate control, a six-speaker sound system, keyless entry and ignition, 17-inch wheels, a seven-inch touchscreen, Android auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, and rear parking sensors. The Laredo also comes standardly equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that is matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission, reaching 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.

The Limited trim might be more up your alley if you feel the need for more creature comforts in your ride. Starting with the standard Laredo equipment and building off it, the Limited trim gains a 115-volt outlet, driver's seat memory settings, a heated steering wheel, 18-inch wheels, a liftgate with power functions, adjustable-power front seating, heated front seats, remote ignition, auto-dimming mirrors, and leather upholstery. Starting at the Limited trim level you will have the choice between the standard V6 engine, a three-liter turbodiesel V6 engine that reaches 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet, or the 5.7-liter V8 engine that puts out 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque.

For those looking to get off the road and see what the unpaved world has to offer, the Trailhawk trim level turns the Grand Cherokee into a vehicle that revels in leaving the pavement behind. Starting with the Limited trim's features, the Trailhawk gains a terrain-selectable traction control, an upgraded instrument cluster display, electronic rear differential, unique exterior styling flourishes, adjustable air suspension, underbody skid plates, 4-wheel drive, 18-inch wheels outfitted with off-roading tires, as well as both hill ascent and descent control.

The next trim level up for the Grand Cherokee is the Overland trim. The Overland trim is very similar in equipment to the Trailhawk trim, though with its off-road-oriented features replaced with more on-road driving-centered capabilities.

Next on the trim ladder is the Summit trim level, which is one of the most luxury-laden trims available for the line. The Summit starts things off with the standard Overland equipment and features, then gains active noise-canceling technology, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, noise-reducing glass, polished 20-inch wheels, advanced safety feature series, upgraded leather upholstery, and self-parking.

Standing out for its high horsepower among the other trims of the line is the SRT, which has its 6.4-liter V8 engine and high-performance tuned all-wheel-drive system to thank for the 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque it puts out. The SRT trim also features sport-tuned steering, sport-tuned brakes, selectable performance modes, a sport body-kit, 20-inch wheels equipped with performance tires, sport-tuned adaptive suspension, and a limited-slip rear differential.

The last of the Grand Cherokee's available trims is the Trackhawk. The Trackhawk takes the majority of the standard equipment that comes with the SRT trim, but adds on to it with a  supercharged 6.2-liter V8 and enhanced eight-speed transmission that puts out 707 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. But the Trackhawk gains more in the form of aggressive-looking bodywork, exclusive interior design elements, Brembo brakes, an upgraded adaptive suspension, and lightweight 20-inch wheels on high-performance tires.

Regardless of what trim level you end up deciding to take home with you, it's a safe bet that the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee will give you exactly what you're looking for. So take a look at our inventory to see if we have the trim you're looking for, then come on by to try it out yourself.
